- The risk-limiting audit is a post-election quality assurance test that ensures the accuracy of election results and provides citizens with evidence that election outcomes reflect the votes cast. The results of the risk-limiting audit are captured in the audit report.
- The reconciliation report summaries the process that provides the evidence for the Canvass Board to certify that the number of votes counted is equal to or less than the number of ballots cast and that the number of ballots cast is equal to or less than the number of eligible voters. This document also includes the certification of election statement.

Special Election Key Dates:
- January 12: Ballots mailed/transmitted to Ward 1 military and overseas voters
- January 30: Logic and Accuracy Test – official testing of ballots and election equipment
- February 5: Ballots mailed to Ward 1 voters; Select 24-hour boxes open (check back for locations)
- February 16: Last day for the County Clerk’s office to mail a voter a replacement ballot.
- February 19: Select Voter Service and Polling Centers open (see below)
- February 27: Election Day; Polls open 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
