Victim Support and Mental Health Resources

  • Crime Victim’s Compensation Program
    • Crime Victim Compensation is a program that provides financial assistance to victims of crime. You may apply and request assistance with out-of-pocket expenses you may have or had as a result of the crime. This can include counseling sessions, and medical expenses, among other things (see list on application). Instructions and additional details for the CVC process can be found on the application. Please keep in mind that CVC requires supporting documentation to be able to offer compensation (such as itemized bills) and will be in touch with you if anything additional is needed. Please sign up for the portal, and then fill out the application. Please note that you must have this case number (2025CR785) or police report number to complete the online application. You can select another language in the upper right-hand corner if you choose.
    • If you need assistance, please contact your Victim’s Advocate. Once the application is complete, it can take 45-60 days for the application to be processed. The Crime Victim Compensation Board will then inform you of their decision.
