  • We conduct initial evaluations of applications or resumes to assist your business in the recruiting process and increase the quality of referrals.
  • We administer assessments to further screen your talent pool.
    • As the employer, you can design the assessment or choose from screening tools available.
    • Assessments range from general reading skills to industry specific knowledge standards.
    • Results from assessments can identify areas of improvement, determine promotions or are used in the hiring process to determine the best candidate for a given position.
  • We can help your business identify, attract and select the best qualified candidates for your unique needs.
  • Register with Connecting Colorado. Through the statewide job database for Colorado Workforce Centers, businesses can post open positions and search through thousands of applicants state-wide.
  • We host and facilitate hiring events customized for a single employer to assist with recruiting, interviewing and hiring.
  • We design and plan Job Fairs for multiple businesses including those targeting youth or are provided as an on-line virtual event (includes chat rooms, teleconferencing, webcasts, training and workshop videos, webinars, businesses’ online hiring sites, and email to exchange information about job openings and resources).
  • Our Business Services Team has access to labor market insights through Economic Modeling Specialist International (EMSI) a data system that provides tailored labor market information to provide up to date information to key businesses. We can work with your business to gather LMI that targets your needs and interests.
  • Labor Market Information (LMI) includes information on:
    • Industries, occupations, characteristics that make up our local workforce
    • Identified skill needs for businesses
    • Employer wage and benefit trends
    • Short and long-term industry and occupational projections
    • Local worker supply and demand
    • Job vacancies
  • We can help your qualified workers obtain training funding for certification, improving value to both the employee and you, the employer.
  • Our on-the-job training program can pay a portion of a new hires’ hourly salary during the first few months. This can offset your expensive training costs.
  • We can facilitate business education trainings, including:
    • Seminars provided by subject matter experts
    • Roundtable discussions on specific employment needs, challenges, and/or learning and practicing skills
    • Focus groups to obtain input on specific business needs or emerging issues.
  • We can serve as a ‘think tank’ with you to strategize solutions to your employee retention needs, including flex scheduling and telecommute options.
  • We can offer your business access to our facilities (including computers, copiers, scanners, etc.) to support your meetings, trainings, orientations, interviews, etc.
  • Our ‘Rapid Response Services’ aid businesses facing restructuring, downsizing, or closures by providing onsite workshops for employees in transition, career coaching, and information on unemployment benefits.
