Boulder County Housing Authority: Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA) 2027 Annual Plan: This hearing is the conclusion of the 45-day comment period for the public to make comments on Boulder County Housing Authority’s 2027 annual plan, for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). As a Public Housing Agency (PHA), BCHA is required to submit an annual plan to HUD every year 75 days before the start of our fiscal year, which is considered January 1. The PHA Plan is a comprehensive guide to PHA policies, programs, operations, and strategies for meeting local housing needs and goals. Each PHA must annually hold a public hearing regarding any changes to the goals, objectives, and policies and invite public comment regarding such changes. The PHA must also consult with and consider the recommendations of the resident advisory board(s) at the public hearing. HUD considers the annual public hearing essential to PHAs in determining whether changes to goals, objectives, and policies are needed. BCHA has made all information relevant to the hearing and any determination of the agency regarding changes to the goals, objectives, and policies of the agency to be considered at the hearing, available for inspection by the public at the principal office of the PHA during normal business hours.
