Hikes for Seniors: The Deep Sleep

Follow us along the foothills of Boulder County as we explore and learn about the critters who live among the pines and rocks. Learn with volunteer naturalists how these animals prepare for winter’s challenges and how hibernation is used as a survival strategy. Trails at Heil Valley Ranch have some inclines and rocky areas, but benches are available for sitting and resting. The trails can be slippery when wet; come prepared!
