Water infrastructure is critical to maintain Boulder County’s agricultural leases. Stock water wells provide water to cattle on each property and allow for proper distribution and management of grazing. Boulder County Parks and Open Space (POS) seeks a qualified vendor for installation of stock water wells on two properties owned and managed by the county: 1. Alexander Dawson. 2. Mayhoffer. These properties are currently leased to agricultural leaseholders for cattle grazing. To increase water availability, the county needs to install additional stock water wells. There will be four (4) new wells installed on the Alexander Dawson property and two (2) additional wells installed on the Mayhoffer property. The selected contractor will assist the county in identifying wells located near available groundwater sources and will be responsible for: 1. Filing necessary well drilling permits with the State of Colorado. 2. Drilling. 3. Installation of associated infrastructure; a. Pump. b. Solar panel. c. Electrical equipment. d. Stock tank. Costs should include additional infrastructure that may be required by the state, including, but not limited to concrete pad installation and wellhead fencing.
