BOCC Public Hearing – Parks & Open Space Real Estate Matters

The Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Parks & Open Space real estate matters on April 8.

Flood Buyouts Dispositions

Following the 2013 Flood, Boulder County acquired private residential properties that had been severely impacted by the flood. Parks & Open Space proposes to transfer 14 of these properties to applicants who competed in a detailed public process to find private individuals and entities that will be best suited to own and manage them, and to retain ownership of one. The properties are and will remain subject to restrictions that will keep the properties undeveloped and in open space uses.

Action requested: Approval
