System Status Board Descriptions

  • Dispatch CAD – The primary system used to process incoming phone calls, track resources and send information to first responders
  • Mobile CAD – The primary system used on mobile data computers (MDCs) in first responder vehicles to review incident information and route to the location
  • Phone Systems – The system used to answer 911 and non-emergency phone calls
  • CAD Notifications – Response information or other notifications sent by SMS, SMTP & Email. This includes 3rd party applications such as Active 911 and I Am Responding
  • Digital Paging – Response information and notifications sent to alpha-numeric pagers
  • Radio – VHF and Digital (7/800) public safety radio systems used for daily communications from our dispatch center
  • Fire Tone Alerting – Audible tones broadcasted over County Fire to alert Fire/EMS/Rescue first responders
