Boulder County’s Health Coverage Guides are hearing from residents who are seeing an increase in health insurance premiums of 50% to 100% or much more for 2026, adding hundreds of additional dollars a month to their household budgets.

Boulder County is launching three grant programs in December to support nature-based climate solutions: the Soil Health Initiative, Grey to Green Fund, and Sustainable Food and Agriculture Fund.

During the eight-month budget process, the Boulder County Commissioners worked with the county’s budget and finance team, elected officials, and department heads to create a budget that balances the needs of the community, the impacts of inflation, and uncertainty around future revenue from property taxes and sales and use taxes.

Boulder County Human Services is seeking new members to serve on the Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) Mill Levy Advisory Council. The council helps guide how local funding is used to support residents with IDD, autism, and brain injury, along with their families and caregivers.
