Program Summary:

Our housing communities provide affordable, below-market-rate housing while emphasizing the creation of a supportive and inclusive environment for all residents. Through our Resident Services programs, we offer pathways to a brighter, more inclusive future, fostering a community where everyone has the opportunity to succeed and thrive.

We engage families and individuals across various generations—youth, parents, and older residents—to strengthen relationships and build a multi-generational support network that benefits the entire community. A key focus is to create spaces where different generations can participate in classes, events, and activities together. This approach fosters connection and understanding across age groups while building shared experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

We are seeking passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds who are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to contribute in various ways, including:

  • Organizing and facilitating community events and seasonal parties that bring together residents of all ages
  • Leading or assisting with educational programs (e.g., cooking, dance, arts and crafts) designed to engage youth, their families, and older community members
  • Tutoring and mentoring youth while encouraging intergenerational interactions between younger and older residents
  • Supporting communal space upkeep and general program activities, creating spaces where families of all generations can connect and engage

By volunteering, you will help build a supportive network that strengthens ties across generations, fostering a sense of community and providing a foundation for future generations to thrive.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have reliable transportation (personal or public)
  • A genuine interest in working with youth and supporting community programs, especially in fostering intergenerational connections
