Program Summary: | Celebrate Halloween with Boulder County Parks & Open Space. We’re hosting our final public trail work event for the year at the ever-popular Hall Ranch! Join us as we clear some trail drainages on the Nelson Loop. Our mission for the day is to divert water off the trail by digging drains to mitigate erosion. We will use a variety of hand tools including pick-mattocks, McLeods, and shovels. With your help we hope to reduce the amount of mud and prevent future trail damage. Costumes are encouraged — just be prepared to get whatever you’re wearing covered in dirt and sweat! |
