Bicycle Resources
Used bikes:
- Community Cycles is offering a Community Bikes Benefit Program. Email firebikes@communitycycles.org or call 720-565-6019 for more information.
- Louisville Cyclery is collecting and distributing used bikes. If you have a bike to donate or need a bike, please visit their shop at 889 E S. Boulder Road in Louisville.
Bike Rentals & New Bikes:
- FullCycle & Colorado MultiSport is offering free one-day bike rentals and discounts on multi-day rentals/new bikes for those who lost their bikes in the Marshall Fire. Visit their Fire Relief Resource page for details.
Bus Passes
Free RTD 3-Hour Passes and MyRide cards are available at various locations around Boulder County. Please reach out to these agencies for further assistance:

- Sister Carmen Community Center Food Bank– Call 303-665-4342 or visit 655 Aspen Ridge Drive, Lafayette, CO 80026 (entrance on east side of the building).
Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) families – If you’ve been impacted by the fire, please contact BVSD’s McKinney-Vento program for transportation assistance and other supports. BVSD families who were not impacted by the fire may contact their School Equity Liaison for help with bus passes or the district’s Transportation Department for other transportation assistance.
Bus Service
Visit www.rtd-denver.com or www.rtd-denver.com/app/alerts for route-specific impacts.
As of January 6, 2022:
- US 36 & McCaslin Station is now open and being serviced.
- FF1 and AB are once again stopping at the station.
- DASH service is restored.
- Route 228 is now operating on the normal route.
Ride Free Longmont – Fare free rides are being offered on four RTD bus routes (323, 324, 326 and 327), extended through the end of 2022. The Bolt, J, LD, LX, and FlexRide are not included in the Longmont Free Fare Program.
FLEX Regional Service – Serves route stops between Fort Collins, Loveland, Berthoud, Longmont, and Boulder. Transfers to the RTD bus system are available in Longmont and Boulder.
Ride Free Lafayette – Riders can book a ride online, by phone at 833-456–3359, or via the On Demand Transit: Rider App. The Ride Free Lafayette bus will arrive at your pick-up location at the designated time and get you to your destination within the City of Lafayette with no transfers needed.
Bustang – Bustang service is available on many Colorado highways. Call 1-800-900-3011 or visit ridebustang.com for schedules and fares.
Electric Vehicle Resources
Many residents lost their vehicles in the Marshall Fire. If you have interest in or questions about electric vehicles (EVs), Drive Electric Colorado coaches are available to answer questions about anything related to EVs, including electric vehicles, EV charging, incentives, rebates, and more. Contact a coach at www.driveelectriccolorado.org/contact.
Ride Free Lafayette
**NEW expanded service area starting January 6: Book rides to any destination throughout east Boulder County including to/from Superior, Louisville, Lafayette, and the Disaster Assistance Center in Lafayette (1755 S Public Rd, Lafayette, CO 80026).

Via Mobility Services
Via Mobility Services is offering transportation services to those impacted by the Marshall Fire, including individual door-to-door rides, wheelchair accessible rides, and large group rides if needed. Pets are welcome. Call 303-447-9636 or visit viacolorado.org.

Uber vouchers for general travel are available at the Disaster Assistance Center (1755 S Public Road, Lafayette, CO).

Free $60 Uber vouchers are available for pick-ups and drop-offs at the Disaster Assistance Center (1755 S Public Road, Lafayette, CO). Recipients must have an Uber account.* Claim a voucher at boco.org/DACUber

Road Closures
Visit the Boulder Office of Emergency Management’s Public Information Map to view road closures, closed areas, dumpster locations, and other information.
