Open Space Weed Management Tour

Description

Learn about weed management on Boulder County Parks & Open Space properties.

This field trip with the Boulder County Commissioners will show examples of various of weed management tools and the management objectives and decision process the county uses for List A, List B and other weed species. You’ll hear about the challenges of weed control and how the county uses research and monitoring for adaptive management. We may even see some rare and unusual plants!

We’ll be traveling in county vans. Please arrive by 7:20 to sign a waiver for riding in vans. Location to be provided to registrants a few days in advance.
