Description
Easy Hike. Prairie dogs are an integral species of our plains ecosystems, and it is reflected in how they punctuate the prairies of Colorado. Their burrows provide homes for other animals, and they are prey to some our majestic predators. Volunteer naturalists will lead you on a short hike around a prairie dog colony to get a closer look at this keystone species.
