Hike for Seniors: Hibernators Emerge!

Description

Easy/Moderate Hike. After a long winter of frigid temperatures and snow-covered landscapes, hibernators begin to stir and awaken from slumber. Some have slept through the whole winter and others have awoken here and there. Hike around the foothills with volunteer naturalists as they share how some animals use dormancy to survive the winter.

Near Boulder. Location provided when registering. Transportation available.

Registration for most programs begins on the 20th of the month before the event.

Registration is required through Discover Boulder County, Parks & Open Space’s volunteer and event registration system. If you’re new to the system, you’ll need to create an account.
