Boulder County Commissioners: Monthly Public Comment (Hybrid)

Hybrid Meeting: In-Person and Zoom Webinar The county commissioners take general public comments on any matter not being discussed in another current public hearing process. Open public comment addressed to the County Commissioners typically occurs at 9 a.m. on the first Thursday of the month unless the date falls on a holiday or needs to be rescheduled due to a calendar conflict. Members of the public can sign up to speak in advance or on the day of public comment. Public comment is taken in-person (in the hearing room) or virtually via Zoom. Check the Commissioners' Advance Agenda to confirm meeting date one week prior to regularly scheduled date. Reserve a speaking spot using the either the "In Person" or "Virtual Attendee" link on the Commissioners' Advance Agenda. Day of Public Comment: Visit the Open Meeting Portal to find the link to join (or sign up to speak) virtually. Each speaker (up to 10 people) will be able to give public comment to the commissioners for three minutes each. Participants will not be able to screen-share but can bring printed materials in person. Public comments and applicable attachments can always be emailed to the commissioners at commissioners@bouldercounty.gov.

Historic Preservation Advisory Board (HPAB) Virtual Meeting

The Boulder County Historic Preservation Advisory Board (HPAB) is an advisory board appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to provide guidance to the county on historic preservation issues. Its primary focus is to review structures and sites for historic significance and to review building or development plans which might affect these resources. HPAB also reviews landmark applications and must approve building plans which result in the alteration of an historic landmark. Each HPAB meeting is a public hearing, and at the beginning of each meeting anyone may address the Board with historic preservation concerns or questions. Climate Equity Fund Office Hours: Application Support (Virtual)

Join these open office hours to chat with staff about the Climate Equity Fund. For this session, JSI staff with expertise in grant development, including eligibility, tiers, and the application platform, will be available. Register for the online meeting. About Climate Equity Fund Office Hours Boulder County will offer several office hours where interested community members can learn more about the Climate Equity Fund and the resources available to help applicants understand the application and the program. Staff will not give feedback on anyone’s individual project idea or application. While staff will provide links and helpful information based on existing resources, it is up to each prospective applicant to develop their own project and prepare their own proposal.
