  • July 12, 2024 Town Hall: The District Attorney will be conducting a Town Hall concerning the non-fatal shooting of Lorenzo Richardson on May 8, 2024 involving Longmont Police Department Master Police Officer Kristopher Ford. District Attorney Dougherty will conduct a Town Hall via Microsoft Teams at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024. Questions can be submitted in advance via email.   • Feb 12, 2024 Town Hall: The District Attorney and the Boulder Jewish Community Center is hosting Standing Against Hate Town Hall. The panel will be discussing hate speech/ crimes, how to respond to it, and the impact it has on community.
  • Feb 9, 2023 Town Hall: The District Attorney concluded that Officer Pedigo was legally justified in his use of physical force in response to the actions of John Fleming. The District Attorney’s detailed report can be found at Here.   • Jan 6, 2023 Town Hall : via Microsoft Teams at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023. The investigation and legal analysis into the death of Ethan Huiras (DOB: 06/28/2002) and the discharge of a firearm by Officer Jared Fender, of the Lafayette Police Department (“LPD”), has been completed.   • December 12, 2022, 11:30am Virtual Town Hall: The District Attorney’s Office announced today that the investigation and legal analysis of the actions of three law enforcement officers, Officer Michael Miranda, Officer Ben Hibl, and Officer Mackenzie Calvano, of the Louisville Police Department (“LPD”), on October 23, 2022, has been completed.   • November 8, 2022, 12:00 Virtual Town Hall: Discussion of the recent decision letter on the Officer Involved Use of Force Decision regarding Officer Eric Stephens, of the Boulder Police Department. (“BPD”), discharging his firearm on October 2, 2022, has been completed. The District Attorney’s detailed report can be found Here.
  • July 27, 2022, 1:30pm Virtual Town Hall: This Town Hall involves discussion on the Officer Involved Use of Force Decision regarding Commander Josh Bonafede, Deputy Jeff Black, and Officer Jon Allendorf, of the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office and the University of Colorado Boulder Police Department, respectively.
