Boulder County Human Services (BCHS) is made up of more than 400 staff members working together as one team. We help over 110,000 people each year in Boulder County.
We offer many services, including:
- Help with food, cash, health coverage, and child care
- Support for families
- Protection for children and adults
- Financial coaching
- Child support services
We also work closely with local nonprofits, government agencies, and businesses to support our community.

Susan has worked for Boulder County since 2005 supporting youth and families, which included leading the Boulder County IMPACT program. She is focused on racial equity, building strong community partnerships, and ensuring human services programs work together to best serve the people of Boulder County.

Khari Hunt – Human Services Deputy Director

For more than 20 years, Khari has been a leader in human services, holding roles in municipal, county, and state agencies across Georgia, Illinois, and Colorado. He has served Boulder County since 2023 as Human Services Deputy Director.
