Program Summary:
Join us on the hillside for a morning of pulling Myrtle spurge! This beautiful, yet highly invasive plant was originally introduced from Europe as an ornamental species. This is a List A noxious weed in the state of Colorado, meaning that we are required by law to treat and eradicate this species, and for good reason. Myrtle spurge is an impressive competitor for resources, taking them from our native species. This plant is rapidly expanding into sensitive ecosystems, displacing native vegetation and reducing forage for wildlife. We need your help to protect Hall Ranch from this bad actor!

Registration is required through Discover Boulder County, Parks & Open Space’s volunteer and event registration system. If you’re new to the system, you’ll need to create an account.
