Program Summary:
Celebrate National Trails Day with Boulder County Parks & Open Space!
We’re hosting our annual National Trails Day event at one of our most popular project sites, Ron Stewart Preserve at Rabbit Mountain. Our mission for the day is to reduce the amount of mud on the trail, leading to fewer muddy trail closure days during the wetter months. Volunteers will dig drainages, move and set rocks, and cut back overgrown brush. Lunch, snacks, and drinks will be provided.

Application Process:
Registration is required through Discover Boulder County, Parks & Open Space’s volunteer and event registration system. If you’re new to the system, you’ll need to create an account. But it’s easy and we only use your contact information to communicate about events you register for. We will never sell or give your information to a third party.
