Boulder County Human Services (BCHS) is here to help everyone. We treat all people fairly in our programs. No one should be turned away because of who they are. If you think you were treated unfairly, you can file a complaint. We take every complaint seriously.
File a Civil Rights Complaint
You can file a complaint if:
- You were treated unfairly because of who you are, such as your race, gender, age, or disability.
- Someone treated you worse because you spoke up or filed a complaint.
- You could not get the help you needed, such as language help or changes for a disability.
Submit a complaint using our online form: Civil Rights Complaint Form
What to Include in Your Complaint
- Your name and how to reach you
- What happened, the date, the place, and who was involved
- Any steps you have taken so far
- Any papers or files that support your complaint
We want to make sure this process is easy for you. If you need help, we can:
- Help you write and file your complaint
- Provide the form in other languages or formats
- Provide someone to help translate
