The Boulder County Veteran Service Officers (VSOs) are veteran advocates. We work with veterans and their families on general resource navigation and to determine eligibility on benefits.

  • Assistance accessing VA education benefits
  • Enrollment help for VA healthcare

Veterans Stand Down and Resource Fair

Partners from across Boulder County and beyond are coming together to celebrate and support veterans and their families. The Veterans Stand Down & Resource Fair aims to serve all veterans, including those experiencing homelessness, seeking resources and assistance. The event will feature vendors to include non-profit agencies that serve veterans, many U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) services and representatives, supplies for those experiencing homelessness, services, and meals.

When: Thursday, Oct. 29, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Where: American Legion John Harold Buckley Post 32 (315 S Bowen St, Longmont)
What: Information and resources for those who have served and their spouses and dependents
Transportation: Those in need of transportation to the event can contact Mobility for All at 720-564-2218 or mobilityforall@bouldercounty.gov.

Veteran Financial Assistance Program Guidelines

Veterans Financial Assistance provides support to veterans who are without enough financial resources to meet their obligations. Financial assistance is provided as a one-time grant. Veteran Financial Assistance Program Guidelines provide details on who is eligible and program limitations.
