Commissioners’ Office – Home Ownership: What’s Missing in Colorado?

Homeownership in the United States of America is the largest investment most folks make. It is also considered the way to create generational wealth. People build credit, access capital, go to school, start businesses, and sometimes simply begin to dream about all the possibilities once they have a stable place of their own. Join industry experts who will share specific examples of barriers their buyers are facing in the current real estate market in our region. The roundtable will be focused on specific barriers and an ask of how we can work together to build local, state, and federal policies that will prioritize first time buyers in Colorado’s market as we move toward 2026.

There will be a brief update on data of the current housing market.

  • When: Friday, Nov. 7 starting at 2 p.m.
  • Where: The event is open to the public to attend virtually by Zoom
  • Call-in information: 1-833-568-8864, Webinar ID: 161 071 5923
