Program Summary:
We are a volunteer driven program that offers restorative justice in the wake of crime. Our aim is to repair the harm by providing a restorative process by which victims are heard and understood, offenders take responsibility for harm, and where loved ones and community members offer support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
RJ Facilitators contact all affected parties, facilitate pre-conferences individually with the victim and offender, and talk on the phone with the other affected parties.
Facilitate the RJ Community Conference with all the affected parties present, providing a safe environment for the harm to be repaired and a collaborative contract written
Qualifications and Requirements:
Ability to listen, reframe, and accept different viewpoints without imposing your own.
Must be at least 21 years old and reside in Boulder County.
Training Dates and Information:
Trainings happen typically over one weekend; a Friday evening and both Saturday and Sunday, all day.
