Boulder County Human Services (BCHS) is made up of more than 400 staff members working together as one team. We help over 110,000 people each year in Boulder County.

We work closely with local nonprofits, government agencies, and businesses. Our goal is to build a strong, healthy community by helping people and families stay safe and stable.
Susan has worked for Boulder County since 2005 in many roles that support youth, families, and justice programs. She also led the Boulder County IMPACT program. Susan was the interim BCHS director from August 2021 to August 2022 and now serves as the permanent director. She is focused on racial equity, building strong community partnerships, and helping BCHS programs work better together to serve the people of Boulder County.

Georgina leads the Partnerships, Contracts, and Services Division at BCHS. Her team helps connect people to the right support at the right time — from early help to more intensive services. They focus on improving quality, outcomes, and access for individuals and families.
This division also oversees the Boulder County IMPACT partnership, which helps guide big-picture planning and ensures programs are effective, well-managed, and aligned with county goals.
