Board of Review (BOR)
By statutory authority, the Boulder County Board of Review hears and decides technical appeals to the interpretation of the Boulder County Building Code Amendments, which apply in the unincorporated areas of Boulder County, not in incorporated cities or towns. The Board of Review looks at proposed building code amendments and makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners’ prior to adoption. Board of Review meetings occur as needed on the last Wednesday of each month. Special meetings are also scheduled as needed. Community Planning & Permitting (CP&P) Public Engagement Meeting: Proposed Building Code and Amendment Updates – Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 4:30 – 6 p.m.

The Boulder County Community Planning and Permitting Department is in the process of updating our building code and amendments. We value your input and would like to invite you to a public engagement meeting where Ron Flax, Deputy Director/Chief Building Official, will share our proposed changes and gather feedback from the community.
This meeting will be an opportunity to learn more about the updates being considered, ask questions, and share your thoughts. Your feedback is essential to making sure our building codes best serve our community.
We encourage all residents, business owners, and other stakeholders to participate.
