Thank you to everyone who has supported the Memorial Bench Program over the years. It has been a meaningful way to honor, remember, and pay tribute to loved ones.
After careful evaluation, we have decided to end the program. As staff continue to focus on core services and respond to changing community needs, it became clear that the program required more time and resources than we could continue to support.
Existing memorial benches will continue to be honored and maintained for the full term that participants paid for, but new requests will no longer be accepted.
We appreciate the memories and stories shared through this initiative.
Donate to the Parks & Open Space Foundation
The Boulder County Parks & Open Space Foundation strengthens the connections between the public and Parks & Open Space by raising private funds, supporting innovative projects, fostering partnerships, and increasing community involvement.
Donations to the Foundation may be made in honor of a loved one.
Please note that the Foundation is not able to provide benches, plaques, trees, or other memorial items on open space.
