The Medical Reserve Corps is a national volunteer organization managed by the U.S. Office of the Surgeon General. There are 27 MRC units located throughout Colorado ready to serve their communities during times of need.
Local MRC Efforts
The MRCBC responded to the 2013 Boulder County flood response efforts by providing clinical and behavioral health assistance at evacuee shelters and assisted within Disaster Assistance Centers as the recovery process began.
In total, 34 MRCBC members volunteered a total of 405 hours in both response and recovery operations.
