K9 Scout is a Bloodhound who was donated by a Colorado dog breeder.
K9 Scout was born in 2015 and started working in the summer of 2017.
He is partnered with Deputy Katie Tkach.
K9 Scout is trained in trailing, as well as human remains detection. He is most often used for finding missing people including lost children, people with Alzheimer’s or Dementia, and criminals.
K9 Scout’s favorite pastimes include hiking Boulder County Open Space parks, playing with his squeaky toy, and having his ears scratched.
