Well testing for bacteria and nitrogen is available at no charge for all homes within the burn area and:
- Cold Spring 1
- Cold Spring 1 Replat B
- Bonanza Mountain Estates
- Bonanza Mountain Estates Replat A
If your home was within the area, complete the test kit request form below. The deadline for free testing is August 31, 2016.
For homes outside the burn area, well testing is available for a fee through several Colorado water testing labs.
Kits, including instructions for collecting the sample and a pre-paid return mail envelope, will be mailed directly to you after your request is submitted.
Sampling & Testing Guidelines
- Closely follow the sampling guidelines enclosed with the kit.
- Mail the sample immediately after collecting it – the test is time sensitive.
- Results will be mailed to you directly.
- Samples can be submitted through the end of 2016.
