Youth Corps Positions Open & Corpsmember of the Year Recognized

The deadline to submit youth applications is Friday, March 30.

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County residents ages 14-17 can now apply for summer jobs with the Boulder County Youth Corps. Boulder County is also hiring adults to be team leaders. The program is especially in need of female applicants.

Youth Corps Teens
The Youth Corps offers one of the best first-job opportunities available for teens in Boulder County. The Youth Corps will hire 160 teenagers to work 30 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, from June 11 to Aug. 1 on a variety of community service projects. Projects will include such activities as trail construction and maintenance, historic preservation, forest thinning, construction and repair of fencing, landscaping and removal of Russian olive trees and noxious weeds. This year, corps members will earn a starting wage of $10.20/hour, with the possibility of earning a $100 bonus at the end of the program based on merit and strong attendance. The deadline to submit youth applications is Friday, March 30.

Adult Team Leaders
Team leaders must be at least 21 years old and assistant team leaders must be at least 18 years old. Team leaders start at $17.67/hour and assistant team leaders at $15.67/hour. Leaders will be employed from May 30 to Aug. 3 to work up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.


2017 Corpsmember of the Year, Daveon Chiles, Honored at Colorado State Capitol
We are proud to report that Boulder County Youth Corps Daveon Chiles was recognized as the “2017 Corpsmember of the Year” at the State Capitol on Monday, Jan. 29, by the Colorado Youth Corps Association.
