Boulder County, Colo. - On March 11, 2018 at approximately 3:20 p.m., the Boulder County Sheriff's Office received a report of smoke and fire in the Boulder County Open Space near the 16200 block of State Highway 128.

Rocky Mountain Fire, Louisville Fire and deputies from the Boulder County Sheriff's Office responded to the approximate 1.5 acre fire. The fire was extinguished, with no persons injured or property damaged, other than some grass land.

The fire is under investigation and likely human caused. Anyone who was in the area, that might have any information, is requested to call the Boulder County Sheriff's Office at (303) 441-4444. This incident is documented under case number 18-1378.
