Wildland Fire at 2100 Flagstaff Road

Small Fire on Flagstaff Road Contained

Boulder County, Colo.

On July 5th, 2017 Fire crews along with Boulder
County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a smoke report in the area of
2100 Flagstaff Road. Upon arrival they
found a wildland fire that was approximately a quarter acre in size. Flagstaff Road was shut down both east and
west to all vehicle traffic while fire crews worked on containing the
fire. The fire crews were able to
quickly contain the fire, at which point Flagstaff Road was re-opened to all
traffic. At no time were any structures
threatened or injuries reported.

The cause of the fire is unknown and is being investigated
by the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.
