Upper Fourmile Canyon Drive/Wall Street and Fourmile Creek flood recovery open house Nov. 18

Public feedback on plans will be collected

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder
County will present updated designs for permanent reconstruction of upper
Fourmile Canyon Drive (west of Salina Junction) and stream recovery plans for
Fourmile Creek at an open house on Wednesday, Nov. 18. All are welcome to
attend.

What: Permanent
Reconstruction Open House

When: Wednesday, Nov.
18, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Where: Fourmile
Firehouse, 1750 Fourmile Canyon Drive

After
the meeting, input received from the public will be incorporated into the next
phase of design, if applicable. Permanent flood recovery-related construction of
the road is anticipated to begin in summer of 2016.

Members
of the public do not need to attend the meeting in order to submit input. Meeting
materials, including current designs, are currently available on the
project website. For those
unable to attend, the county encourages sending comment by:

comments should be received no later than Wednesday, Dec. 16
in order to
guarantee their consideration for the next phase of design.

Drive reconstruction are currently being scheduled. Information will be
provided to the public as soon as meeting details are finalized.
