Unattended death of 59 year old male transient in Boulder County

Boulder County, Colo.

On June 25th, 2017, just after 8:00 a.m., the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, American Medical Response (AMR), and the Boulder County Coroner's Office responded to the 5000 block of 28th Street in unincorporated Boulder County, Colorado on the report of an unattended death.

A deceased 59 year old male transient was discovered behind an unoccupied structure in the 5000 block of 28th Street. A medic with AMR examined the male and pronounced him deceased.

Investigators with the Sheriff's Office and Coroner's Office arrived to begin a joint investigation. At this time, nothing about the circumstances of the unattended death are suspicious. The identity of the deceased is being withheld until notification of next of kin and completion of the investigation.
