The deadline for filing Business Personal Property Declarations is approaching

The deadline for filing Business Personal Property Declarations is approaching

Business owners have until April 18 to file their 2017 Business Personal Property Declarations

The Boulder County Assessor's Office is reporting a lower than usual rate at this time of year on filings of Business Personal Property Declarations.

"Our receipt of this information is behind schedule this year, and we’d like to help businesses comply with the law by completing this information ahead of the deadline," said Boulder County Assessor Cynthia Braddock.

This notice serves as a reminder to business owners that Business Personal Property Declarations for 2017 are due Tuesday, April 18, the same date as tax returns are due to the IRS.

Business owners are encouraged to visit the Assessor's website and update their assets list. New businesses are asked to call the Assessor’s Office for instructions if they did not receive a declaration in the mail.

Businesses can file online for Business Personal Property Declarations using this link.
