Structure Fire at Ponderosa Mobile Home Park in North Boulder
The home at 4475 North Broadway is a total loss
Boulder County, Colo. - On Thursday, January 12, 2017 at approximately 4:45pm, deputies with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched along with fire/rescue personnel from Boulder Rural Fire Department, City of Boulder Fire Department, Mountain View Fire Department, and American Medical Response on a report of a structure fire.
The fire was contained to a single home at the Ponderosa Mobile Home Park in a county island in the northern part of the City of Boulder, located at 4475 North Broadway, Boulder County, Colorado. The lone occupant of the home was able to evacuate from the residence uninjured and is staying with local relatives. No pets were injured and no other structures were damaged.
The home was a total loss. At this time, the cause and origin of the fire is yet to be determined. Fire personnel submitted a routine request for a response from the Multi-Agency Fire Investigation Team (MAFIT), who will be responding in the morning to investigate. Deputies with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office are maintaining scene security at the home overnight until the scene can be released to MAFIT personnel.
