Structure Fire 100 Block Sky Trail

Boulder County, Colo. -

On Sunday,
April 18, 2018 at approximately 5:21 pm, Boulder County Sheriff’s deputies, American
Medical Response, Boulder Emergency Squad and Boulder Mountain Fire, Boulder
Rural and Lefthand Fire Protection Districts were dispatched to the 100 block
of Sky Trail on the report of a structure fire, which was called in by
neighbors. Emergency personnel arrived and encountered a
fire which was primarily in the upper level bathroom and adjacent areas. Deputies on scene estimated approximately
10-15% of the structure was damaged.

The
fire was extinguished subsequently and reviewed by MAFIT (Multi-Agency Fire
Investigation Team). There is no foul play
suspected. The exact final cause of the
fire has not been determined and is still pending additional review by fire
personnel.

There
were dogs inside the residence when the fire started and they were evacuated by
neighbors, as the residents were not home at the time. No injuries have been reported as of the time
of this press release.
