19 year old Nederland man arrested.

Boulder County, Colo. - On October 16, 2017 at approximately 12:36 p.m., the Boulder County Sheriff's Office was notified of a stabbing that occurred at the Dam Liquor Store, located at 20 Lakeview Drive in the Town of Nederland.

According to witness accounts, a 19 year old man, Ananda Koromzay-Vail walked out of the store with a bottle of whiskey. The victim, a Rollinsville man and patron of the business stepped out and confronted Koromzay-Vail. Koromzay-Vail stabbed the victim twice in the face, threatened to kill him and then fled the area.

A sheriff's deputy, who was close by when the call was dispatched, encountered Koromzay-Vail, challenged him and ultimately had to use a Tazer to gain custody of him, after he resisted arrest.

The victim was treated and released for his stab wounds, none of which were life-threatening.
