St. Vrain Creek “Reach 3” Restoration Public Meeting set for July 12
Presentation of Alternatives and Site Visit
Boulder County, Colo. - On July 12 Boulder County Parks and Open Space and its consultant, Engineering Analytics, will host a meeting and site visit to present the design criteria and preliminary alternatives for the restoration of the breaches on Reach 3 of St. Vrain Creek, between U.S. Highway 36 and Hygiene Road.
This is the second of several public meetings to continue discussions about post-flood restoration of Reach 3. This project is directly linked to the St. Vrain Creek Watershed Master Plan.

Staff will present the design criteria and alternatives at 5:30 p.m., followed by a short tour of some of the areas along the creek that were hardest hit in the 2013 Flood. There are a limited number of spots on the tour and reservations are required. Those interested should contact Jesse Rounds at jrounds@bouldercounty.org to reserve a spot. No
personal vehicles will be permitted on site.
This conceptual design project is funded through a planning grant from the Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Relief (CDBG-DR) program and is being administered by the State of Colorado Department of Local Affairs.
