St. Vrain Creek “Reach 3” Check-In Meeting set for Monday, Nov. 7

Focus on ideas and concerns from stakeholders

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County Parks & Open Space and its consultant, Engineering Analytics, will host a public meeting to discuss the restoration of “Reach 3” of the St. Vrain Creek, between U.S. Hwy 36 and Hygiene Road. This project is directly linked to the St. Vrain Creek Watershed Master Plan.

Project Issues Identification Meeting

Monday, Nov. 7, 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Boulder County Parks and Open Space Building
5201 St. Vrain Road, Longmont

The project team would like to determine where the current 30% design has met objectives and goals, and identify any additional solutions needed to finalize designs that will be presented later in November.

This meeting will not focus on existing designs or ideas from engineers. The discussion will focus on ideas, issues, solutions, and concerns from stakeholders and the public.

This conceptual design project is funded through a planning grant from the Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Relief (CDBG-DR) program and is being administered by the State of Colorado Department of Local Affairs.
