South Boulder Road median replacement project starts Dec. 7

Work requires fulltime lane closures

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder
County Transportation will begin a median replacement project on South Boulder
Road between South Boulder Creek and McCaslin Boulevard at 7 a.m. on Monday,
Dec. 7. In order to accommodate construction, both the inside eastbound and the
inside westbound lane of South Boulder Road will be closed through the duration
of the project in two locations:

  • Dec. 7 to Dec. 18 – Inside lane closures in both
directions, 24-hours per day/seven days per week, between South Boulder Creek
    and Cherryvale Road
  • Dec. 19 to Dec. 31 – Inside lane closures in both
directions, 24-hours per day/seven days per week, between Cherryvale Road and
    McCaslin Boulevard

The
construction timeframe is weather dependent. This project is part of Boulder
County Transportation’s annual Capital Improvements Program that seeks to
construct new and maintain existing infrastructure throughout the county.
