Salina Junction Paving Update – Work will last until dark – Long delays expected

Due to the confined nature of the construction space and other difficult logistics of the area, the paving project as Salina Junction is resulting in longer (45-minute average) delays than anticipated. In addition, crews are now planning on working until dark (7-7:30 p.m.), if needed, so expect these longer delays until operations have stopped for the day. The contractor is still hopeful that paving will be complete today, but there is a chance that they will need to return tomorrow (Saturday) or Monday to complete the job.

I apologize for the inconvenience this work may have caused for your daily activities. The contractor is working as fast as safely and effectively possible. It is imperative that the job is done correctly today so that we don't need to return in the future to repair any problems that may occur from substandard work and cause you any more issues with your travels.

I will provide more updates via email should any new information arise.

Thanks again for your patience and understanding.
Have a good day and a great weekend.

Sincerely,

Andrew
