Welcome to the November edition of the People Engaged in Raising Leaders (P.E.R.L.) monthly newsletter. This newsletter is meant to keep PERL graduates informed about new board and commission opportunities in Boulder County. We also invite non profit organizations, businesses, and city and county commissions to share these opportunities when they open up. Boulder HC

The Boulder Housing Coalition (BHC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Community Housing Development Organization dedicated to creating affordable, sustainable, community-enhancing, cooperative housing for the people of Boulder county.

The
Boulder County AIDS Project, a 501(c)(3) organization, is recruiting new board
members to fill immediate vacancies. Established in 1985, their mission is to
provide support, advocacy and education to those in our community who are
living with or affected by HIV and AIDS, and to serve as an outreach and
information center to prevent the further transmission of HIV.

They
are looking for individuals with a diverse and broad range of strengths,
experience, and skills who are interested in having a positive impact on the
community. Skillsets needed
include healthcare, governance, finance, business, fundraising, social justice.
Monthly meetings are held on the 4th Monday, 6 p.m. at the YWCA of Boulder.
