Winter recruitment for Boulder County's Boards and Commissions is underway! Advisory boards and commissions help advise the county commissioners and other elected offices and departments on matters concerning public administration, planning, budgeting, and other functions of local governance.

There are currently 19 Boards and Commissions that have 48 available spots. The deadline to apply is January 17th, so please visit the webpage here to take a look at all the openings and apply!

Boulder County recently compared the demographics on our advisory boards and commissions to countywide census information.

The Community Corrections Board is especially seeking new members who will be responsible for:

  • Establishing policies and procedures for ‘diversion’ screening placements with facilities.
  • Screening ‘transition’ offenders referred from the Department of Corrections
  • Providing oversight of local community corrections programs.
