Boulder County, Colo. - At approximately 1:20 p.m. this afternoon, witnesses called the Boulder County Communications Center with a report of a downed paraglider in the 100 block of Meadowlook Way, west of Wonderland Lake.

Upon arrival responding agencies found a 47-year-old male with a suspected head injury. He was taken to a local hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

Agencies that were involved in this rescue include: Boulder County Sheriff's Office, Rocky Mountain Rescue, Boulder Mountain Fire, and American Medical Response.
