Non-profit boards and commissions needed to participate in recruitment fair, May 16

Boulder County, Colo. - The People Engaged in Raising Leaders (PERL) recruitment
fair gives organizations an excellent opportunity to meet top
candidates from around the county to fill open positions on their boards and
commissions. Non-profit groups are invited to participate that have an opening
now, expect one in the near future, or would just like to showcase their
organization to a wide variety of diverse community leaders.

What: PERL Board Fair
When: Monday, May 16, 6-8 p.m.
Where: St. Vrain Community Hub, 515 Coffman St., Longmont

PERL was developed by Boulder County Community Action
Programs to help increase the number of
low-income people of color on local boards and commissions. PERL participants
learn about leadership development, communication styles, budgeting, and fundraising to prepare them for
a position with a local non-profit.
