Monarch Road closed south of 79th Street at Dry Creek starting Sept. 28

Boulder County, Colo. -- Boulder
County Transportation will begin a project to install a new culvert on Monarch
Road that accommodates flows from Dry Creek. The project will begin at 8 a.m.
on Monday, Sept. 28. In order to complete the project, a full closure of
Monarch Road at Dry Creek will be necessary until the project is complete,
which is anticipated for early December 2015.

Motor vehicle detours for Monarch Road:

  • Residents and
    other travelers seeking to access Monarch Road east of Dry Creek will need to
    use 79th Street; and,
  • Residents and
    other travelers seeking to access Monarch Road west of Dry Creek will need to
    use CO Hwy 119/Diagonal Highway.
