Missing, Elderly Female with Dementia Found

Located in Jefferson County

Boulder County, Colo. --Follow-up to previous press release: Donna Vermillion has been located. Donna (who is 84 years old), had been reported as missing by her husband on the afternoon of January 13, 2017, after she drove away from their home, located in the mining community of Gold Hill, in unincorporated Boulder County, Colorado. She was reported to have driven off in a red Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Donna was reported to have dementia, and when she did not return home after a short period of time, her husband called the Boulder County Sheriff's Office to report her as missing.

Just before 11pm, on Friday, January 13, 2017, Donna was contacted by a deputy with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. She does not appear to have any injuries and is currently being taken back to her home in the Gold Hill area. Donna had been missing for nearly 11 hours before being located.

The Boulder County Sheriff's Office case number for this investigation is 17-245.
