Lower Fourmile Creek restoration work starts Monday – Crews mobilizing this week

Hello -

Frontier Environmental is currently mobilizing in preparation for stream restoration work that will officially begin in lower Fourmile Creek on Monday. The stream project will begin near Poorman Road and will proceed downhill towards Boulder Canyon Drive.

You may have seen signs along Fourmile Canyon Drive alerting you of potential travel delays. Impacts to the traveling public should be short and infrequent. They will occur when equipment is moving in and out of the creek and accessing Fourmile Canyon Drive. Flaggers will be utilized to move people safely around any equipment in the roadway. There may be occasions when Fourmile Canyon Drive will be reduced to a single lane of travel in short stretches. This will happen in spots where the creek flows right next to the roadway. These zones will be short, so delays should not be longer than a few minutes.

Work will take place between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Roadway work is still anticipated to begin later this year (October) in upper Fourmile Canyon and on Gold Run. I'll provide more information on all projects (including lower Fourmile and Logan Mill) as details are solidified.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to contact me at any time.

Thank you for your time, patience, and understanding.

Have a good day.

Sincerely,

Andrew
